It’s amazing that in just 24 little hours soooooooo much can happen!

You know the day starts on a downward slope tunneling to canyon depth by 9:30 a.m., days that move like a three-legged dog, clumsy and inefficient.

Saying too much or things we shouldn’t have said at all, too harsh, too loud, too long. Days we missed the mark – didn’t cut the mustard, didn’t hold up, hold out or hold on. Just couldn’t make ends meet.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could re-wind or re-do those days?

We can, No, we really CAN, it’s called tomorrow. Tomorrow is a day away sings “Annie”. Lamentations 3:22 – 24 reminds us, it’s of the Lord mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness. The Lord is our portion and our hope.

He has a plan and the help you need to assist you each day. To set a watch before your mouth keeping the door of your lips. (Psa. 141:3) Out of heaven you can hear His instructions. (Deu.4:36) He will teach you His ways and make plain paths for your feet because of your enemy. (Psa. 27:11)

God provides a fresh canvas every twenty-four hours, compassion and faithfulness to humble souls.

We’re only earthen vessels, but we can be more than conquerors. Each day clothed in mortal shells we can be victorious – in Jehovah’s might! In might and mercy this great God, not only gives us re-takes every twenty-four hours, but seven of those makes fifty-two weeks and 365 days, and that allows a brand new chapter!
