Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.”

In fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy, Christ remained silent before His accusers before His crucifixion. That goes against the self-preservation mindset. Against all, we as humans would endure. To vindicate oneself is a way of life. To be falsely accused and then to allow lies to determine your fate, future and ultimately your death appears outrageous and entirely uncalled for.

While thinking over the plan of salvation, it was necessary for the Son of God in the form of man to go exactly according to the purpose of the Father.

Having implicit trust in God is essential.

In our times of controversy to know God is God isn’t enough. He spoke, and the world and everything in it was. But knowing He is the Creator and ruler is what most people know. As a child of God, as the redeemed and ransomed from the undauntingly clutches of the enemy we need not only know who He is but trust in His plan and purpose for our lives and the lives of those who will be saved.

His will is that none perish, no not one. So many have been hardened and hurt, so some unusual and drastic measures will be employed. He’s prepared to do whatever He must for the soul who wants to be rescued.

All can be saved but, not all will be saved. But all will have a chance to know Him, it’s one of His promises. He places us seemingly in harm’s way to save or judge, we can rest assured in our silence the Father will speak volumes and His purpose and our good are at the center of His concern.
