How often have you heard, “God is Love” and “God is Good? There is no doubt that He is Love and Good, but people are saying that as if there is nothing else to God. No judgment, no justice, no promises!

God is all we will ever need, He’s Complete.

In our finite state, we can’t understand His wisdom. We must learn to trust Him. Isaiah tells us His thoughts and ways are higher than our perceptive ability, further than heaven is from earth.

Remember, He is the Creator of the heaven and the earth, knowing all and seeing all. The Lord reminds us, He alone knows the thoughts toward us. Thoughts of peace not evil to give an expected end.

Does this mean that we do as we wish to presume on the love of God? Will His love wink at disobedience and sin once He’s sent the antidote for the cancer spreading of sin?

He’s proven His love for us and has given us promises on contingency. After the disobedience in the Garden, there had to be a plan to reconcile man to God.

Salvation is free to whosoever will, but it will cost your life to keep God’s commandments – forsaking all, counting the cost and taking up His cross daily. God is love, but He is just.
Romans 11:22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: On them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness; otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”
Ephesians 2:8-10For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them

His hand of mercy caught the blow of justice moments before the deserved punishment was administered. The verdict was death, handed down by the judge, but the Savior paid the price, that we may go free. FREE, for love from justice!
