In our wonderful highly technical, free enterprising, “you buy, I sell” world, most believe everything has a price tag. Everything, or so they think.

God has set a plan for His Church. One that holds them before the world as His prototype for every situation and circumstances life doles out.

We are His hands, His feet, His example of love and power. We are His representatives of how to live, love and suffer. Emulating Him as the world rolls over and around us.

Some look on for encouragement and others look on to brand every Blood-washed one a hypocrite. Pointing out each infraction. Not that there won’t be some, but mico-watching may put some to second guess oneself. Measuring themselves by others. Our services are unto God. He opens the door for a heaven-bound life. And all could partake.

Luke 12:1-5, 7Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops…Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do…Fear, Him, which after He hath killed hath the power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. But even the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore; ye are more value than many sparrows”.

Believe our value to God!

To believe frees us from hypocrisy. We are what we are because of Him and there is no need to portray anything else.

Believing frees us:

  • from unnecessary fear, He’s promised not to afflict us with more than we can bear.
  • to acknowledge Him, sharing and speaking up and out where and when needed.
  • from the need of riches over focusing on gathering things. The sparrows are all remembered by God, we are of more value.
  • from worry, life has natural concerns, but our lives are in His hand. “Our hope is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

What a solemn warning and sheer excitement! Zion is a fearful place, but a coveted place. We have the ear of the King of kings. The heart of the everlasting Father and the hope of the Prince of peace.

So, rack up those zeros!! They need to be endless. Our value to God is without a price tag. We’ve already been bought with the Precious Blood of Jesus. We are the Apple of His Eye, the Bride of Christ, the ole Ship of Zion.
