This time of year can be a little overwhelming for those who aren’t near their families or have none. Whether singled or married, rich, poor, beggar, thief or doctor, lawyer, Indian or chief.

Anyone and everyone could feel some way at any time of the day for many reasons. Our hope, for whatever the problem, the ill, the fears, and tears are vulnerable and exposed.

I love the scripture in Isaiah 41:21, “Produce your cause, saith The Lord.”
Ok, now, what do you need?
What are your concerns or your needs?
Healing – Ex. 15:2 “For I AM the Lord that healeth thee.”
Hurts and accusations hurled with no let-up – Gen.15:1 “I AM thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.”
In your darkest hour – Rev. 22: 16, “I AM the bright and morning star.”

He’s the King of Kings, the Bread of Life, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the True Vine. Where can you go He has not been? What do you know that’s hidden from Him? There is no sorrow He that can not He can not heal.

He’s The Son of God. He was there in the beginning and has a place for you when this is all over. Just hold on a little while longer. You can count on Him. He never changes, and His promises are true. He knows the way because He is The Way. That life you are living can be more abundant in Him.

The world seems to be out of control, but He made it all, and He may allow it never, ever out of His authority. There’s nothing too high, too low, too wide to get around Him. We look to Him for strength in our weakness, wisdom in our slackness, grace in our affliction, mercy in our failures, and faith in trials.

So take courage, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” You are not alone – Matt. 28:20 “Lo I AM with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
