It seems the whole world is caught up and perpetuated in, on and around the entity of cyberspace.

Miles that so long separated us now have no boundaries. Outer space has been conquered and concepts once considered science-fiction or the script for the Jetsons program are now engrained in our uneventful everyday protocol. This “get quick connection” mentality seems to accentuate the hastiness rather than alleviate the need to continuously force one’s self into perpetual overdrive.

We are rushing to make more time to put more into the ever-shortening 24 hours God allotted for a one (1)  day period of His time. Somewhere we sandwich in time alone for God.  But, the process of prayer has some regulations of its own. Watch and pray. When you pray believe. Pray one for another,  pray and not faint, pray with the Spirit and understanding and pray without ceasing.

Communications are lightning fast but when it comes to prayer we need to s-l-o-w  d-o-w-n.  We are not only communing with the Wonderful Counsellor but the Creator of the heavens and the earth, which includes the lightning!

Prayer is a powerful tool. One that can connect us to the All-seeing, ever present, forever knowing permanent Prince of Peace. Not being rushed through to cross it from our “To Do” list -high tailing it through the onslaught of our daily life and losing sight of God for who He is and what He is worthy of.

Prayer isn’t a quick fix for resources but to aid in developing a deep relationship with your Heavenly Father. He has the guidance, the protection, and the power. He is love. He has the wisdom it takes to get you where you need to be. He knows how to prepare you for heaven while glorifying His name.

…”The effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” This can be accessed anywhere. Not needing a Wi-Fi hotspot or a high-speed modem. Just righteousness coming before the  All Mighty God… and time.
